Journeys of a blissin gypsy gaucho kissin goddess

Quiero comprar la estufa

after class today i went in search of a small space heater as the tiny attic room has no heat, a little chilly up there. the first place i attempted was like a general appliance store and no one spoke english there, Favagra, or something like that. after being charged 78 pesos for a 2 year warranty, huh?, i had the transaction voided and off i went. i came upon a small hardware store and just went in on a hunch. besides having a working heater to demonstrate the glowing orange halgen bulbs to me, their was a resident black cat which was so friendly. without english i bought a nice heater with a conversion plug for my laptop. total cost: 74 pesos (the other heater was 159! plus 78 was 253!) even in BA i am a thrifty shopper.

i came home for lunch today and made myself a pavo (turkey) and cheese sandwhich. eating at home was a welcome change and i even studied at the table for a good hour. what a difference!

kj has a bit of a cold. i found a pharmacy and consulted someone about what they had. its so easy to buy medicine here sin prescription, very cool. decided to come back should kj need something in particular.

i’m starting to get organized and feel like i’m hitting a stride here. i talked to a man today who lived in new york for 4 years and loved it, said he likes the women from the united states, they are so nice and pretty. he wanted to know my political position, why why WHY? do you not vote for McCain… es complicado amigo. living anywhere long enough you understand some of its problems. as a short term visitor here i am fairly oblivious to the politics etc. i think its easy to understand once you feel the outcome of other people’s decisions, as a foreigner i dont have that deep awareness. more like being on a long holiday.
