6 months abroad and I still have yet to book a room for my trip

well the title just about sums it up. i need a breakthrough, i’ve been looking online and in several travel books for a clean safe hotel in a nice part of buenos aires that doesnt cost over $100 american dollars. from what i’ve seen, the prices are no better than what we charge here, so much for the dollar going far huh?

i admit that i dont care to book hotels online, sight unseen, as the pictures may look pretty but if the vibe is wrong its a deal breaker. i’m more of a spontaneous this place has a great vibe kind of traveler which to suffice to say not everyone can deal with that style of travel. i travel alone ALOT, smile.
